High school students take the streets in Les Cayes

Monday, Les Cayes, young people took to the streets to ask the State to empty the high schools of people who are temporarily housed there since the passage of the Matthew hurricane.

The Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince, Jean Danton Léger said that arrangements have been made (once again) by the prosecution in order to stop the troublemakers who would consider disrupt polling day scheduled for 20 November. Reforestation konbit to Port à Piment

About one month after the passage of Hurricane Matthew, UN Environment supports the revival of reforestation activities in Port à Piment. On Monday, "Konbit Pou Potapiman" (KPP) launched the process of planting 60,000 seedlings (Cashew, Gaiac, lemon, Cachiman...) in the area of the cave Marie Jeanne. These seedlings who were chosen with the population, aim to restore the existing biodiversity while recapitalizing victims families of the Hurricane with an approach of "Konbit" in solidarity.
