Tuesday afternoon, Customs officers have discovered a new weapons shipment in a container at the wharf Global Lafito located 20 km north of the capital.

7 Smith and Wesson pistols, 5 Glock model 40, more than 400 ammunition for the Glock, nearly a hundred of 9mm bullets and 57 magazines (15 for Smith and Wesson, 27 for Glock 40, and various other including 2 for assault rifles) were seized by the judicial authorities, according to the Justice of Peace.

The names of the sender and recipient have not been revealed, however, the forwarder questioned, who knew nothing of the presence of these weapons, hold information on the country of origin, the sender and recipient, informations that will bthat will be put in the record of the investigation by the Directorate of Judicial Police.
