The Head of State formulated his best wishes to the new President of the United States, upon assuming his new duties. "On behalf of the Haitian Government and people, the President Privert reaffirms his commitment to maintain and consolidate the good relations between the two countries.

The President of the Republic strongly hope that bilateral cooperation between the United States and Haiti will continue and be strengthened."
