Haiti - USA : Privert welcomes the election of the new US President
Wednesday morning, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert, conveyed his warmest congratulations to the new President of the United States, Donald John Trump, elected Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
The Head of State formulated his best wishes to the new President of the United States, upon assuming his new duties. "On behalf of the Haitian Government and people, the President Privert reaffirms his commitment to maintain and consolidate the good relations between the two countries.
The President of the Republic strongly hope that bilateral cooperation between the United States and Haiti will continue and be strengthened."
