Haiti - Economy : Two good news for employment

The Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) announces two good news that will generate nearly 15,000 jobs in Haiti. The first concerns "Lafito Industrial Free Zone" which has just signed with the Taiwanese firm RSI, a contract of implantation on a space of 146,000 m2. This firm will create nearly 8,000 jobs over 3 years. The second good news is the reception of a new member in the textile sector: the company "Hansae Haiti S.A." which became member of the ADIH last October. The company will create 7,000 additional jobs in this growing sector and will settle to the SONAPI Industrial Park.
