Formal denial of the Minustah

The United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti has denied having commissioned or conducted a survey on the elections in Haiti. The survey document circulating associated with the Minustah is a falsification and a false information.

Moïse Jean-Charles refuses the money of the bourgeoisie !

Concerning the financing of his campaign, Moïse Jean Charles candidate for the presidency under the banner of the platform (Pitit Dessalin) said "I chose not to accept the funding came from the bourgeoisie to be able to lead the country sovereignly [...] If this were not the case, the international community and the Haitian ruling class would have already imposed their President on the National Palace."

Haiti at the 22nd Conference of the Parties on Climate in Marrakesh

As part of the follow up to give to the implementation of the Paris Agreements, a Haitian delegation will participate in the 22nd Conference of the Parties on Climate (COP 22) in Marrakech, Morocco, from 14 to 18 November. The Haitian delegation intends to draw attention to the impacts of climate change on Haiti's life, economy and development. Note that it is UN-Environment that supports the participation of the Haitian delegation which includes representatives of different institutions of the Haitian government.
