Haiti - Special elections : Polls open late, many voters #HaitiElections
This Sunday 6.2 million voters are called to the polls from 6:00 am to elect the future president, Haitian voters have to choose between 27 candidates for the presidency and must complete the parliament by the election of 16 senators (out of 30) and 25 deputies (out of 109).

As in previous elections, the CEP of Berlanger was unable to open the polling stations on time. At 6:30 this morning at the Canapé Vert the Voting centers were still not open despite a strong presence of voters, same situation at Croix-des-Bouquets where one of the voting centers was not open. The voting booths for this resumption of the elections are in marked improvement, protecting more the vote.
