Haiti - Security : Special session of the PM on post-election incidents

Monday morning at the National Palace, Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles, in his capacity as President of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), in the presence of the de facto President Jocelerme Privert and his private Cabinet, Ministers Camille Jr. Edouard (Justice), François Anick Joseph (Interior), Jacques Evelt Eveillard (Public Works), of Secretary of State for Public Security, Himler Rébu, the Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Security Advisor to the President, Aramick Louis and the Director General of the Electricity of Haiti (EDH), Garry Valdemar; held a special session to assess the incidents that followed the end of the voting process and to avoid the recurrence of new unfortunate incidents likely to jeopardize the achievements of this crucial day for Haiti.
Instructions were given to the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), in order that the light be made on the fire that broke out Sunday night in the market of Frères https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19299-haiti-news-zapping-politics.html in order to establish the cause, possibly criminal. Otherwise, it was recalled at this session that the announcement of electoral results and demonstrations in favor of one or more candidates which are likely to disturb public order constitute violations of the electoral process in accordance with articles 197, 197.1 And 210 b of the Electoral Decree.
