Remember that following the murder on Sunday of the young police officers Rigaud Claude Clermont https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19501-haiti-security-a-young-24-year-old-police-officer-savagely-assassinated.html some residents in front of the police station of Petion-ville had denounced the mayor of the city, Dominique St-Roc for having recently facilitated the release of Jean Hilaire Ladouceur aka "Lèlè" a dangerous gang leader, after his arrest to the polcie station of Petion-ville. An accusation swept by the mayor of Petion-ville, who said he saw in these allegations the hidden hand of his political opponents who seek to damage his reputation.

While Inspector Gary Desrosiers, the Deputy Spokesman for the Haitian National Police (PNH), was not in a position to confirm or deny these allegations, which will be the subject of an investigation, the Commissioner of the Government Me Jean Danton Léger, always prompt to react, convened the mayor of Pétion ville to come to explain on Tuesday December 13 to the Public Prosecution of Port-au Prince on these accusations and its possible links with the individual nicknamed "Lélé" :
