The State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the general public, the university community in particular, that in the framework of the "Pierre Paquiot Week", which was declared in tribute to Professor Pierre Marie Michel Paquiot, who died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Cuba https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19336-haiti-education-the-state-university-of-haiti-in-mourning.html all the entities of the UEH are invited to honor the memory of Pierre Marie Michel Paquiot, former student, former professor, former member of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Sciences (FDS) and former Rector, for his 38 years of loyal service Within the institution.

In this context, UEH is organizing a ceremony "Tribute and Respect" on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 3:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Faculty of Science, in the Rue Mgr Guilloux. It will be an opportunity for UEH to express its gratitude to this illustrious professor whose career has been entirely dedicated to its cause and promotion.

The funeral of Professor Paquiot will be sung on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Church St Pierre de Pétion-Ville at 9:30 am.
