The Office of the Young President of Haiti (Amos Cincir) advises the general public and students in particular that the Board of Directors of the Association of Volunteers for Democracy (AVD), the organizing body of the Youth Government and Parliament of Haiti, is launching a call for candidacy for the 4th edition of the Youth Government of Haiti (GJH), covering the period from February 2017 to February 2019.

• Young Minister of the Economy and Finance

• Young Minister of Planning and External Cooperation

• Young Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities

• Young Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communication

• Young Minister of Public Health and Population

• Young Minister of Education and Vocational Training

• Young Minister of Haitians Living Abroad

• Young Minister of Trade and Industry

• Young Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development

• Young Minister of the Environment

• Young Minister for Social Affairs and Labor

• Young Minister for Human Rights and Employment

• Young Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action

• Young Minister of Technology

• Young Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries

Interested persons must meet the following criteria :

• Be a citizen of Haiti;

• Be under 24 years of age;

• Be regularly enrolled in a university in Haiti;

• Have never been condemned to afflictive or infamous punishment;

• Not to be an organizational leader;

• Be willing and available;

• Pay the registration fee (1000 gourdes).

The Board of Directors of the AVD, invites interested parties to send their file with their CV, a letter of motivation, proof of being in a university, a copy of the National Identity Card (CIN) and 2 recent ID photos by 16 January 2017 at the latest to the mail address of the AVD, vdemocratie@yahoo.fr.

Each applicant must also physically deposit their complete file on 16 January 2017 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at # 41 Maguana Street, Delmas 31, inside.

Note : The partial results will be published on January 22, 2017 and the final results on January 31, 2017. The next government will be invested on February 7, 2017.

Only applicants submitting a complete application will be eligible to enter the competition.
