Haiti - Politics : Composition of political blocs in the lower house

Tuesday, 5 political blocs of deputies registered in the office of the Lower House :

The Block "Parliamentary Alliance for Haiti" (APH) :

Composed of 64 deputies Pro Jovenel Moïse (PHTK and allies), this Group Chaired by the Deputy Gary Bodeau (Delmas), Quaestor of the Lower House https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19841-haiti-news-zapping-politics.html represents the majority group and can alone hold meetings in the Assembly, since the required quorum is 60 members. Note that the APH is the majority group for the second consecutive legislative year.

The "Parliamentary Group for Stability" (GPS) :

New Bloc in the Lower House, composed of 15 deputies , most of whom were formerly members of the GPEP. It is chaired by the Deputy Asthène (Marigot).

The Bloc VERITE / OPL and allies :

New Bloc in the Lower House, made up of 14 deputies, it gathers deputies of the VERITE party and the OPL in majority and some allies. It is chaired by Deputy Salem Raphaël (Marmelade).

The "Parliamentary Group at the Listening of the People" (GPEP) :

This bloc, which had 34 deputies in the 49th Parliament, now has only 11 deputies. It is chaired by Deputy Guerda Benjamin Alexandre (Savanette).

The Bloc "Group of Independent Parliamentarians" (GPI) :

This block, which had 10 deputies in the 49th Parliament, now counts 11 today. It is chaired by the deputy Jean Marcel Lumérant (Grand-Goâve).

Note that the deputy Patrick Norzéus, (Fanmi Lavalas, Baradères / Grand Boucan), former member of the GPEP, presented himself as independent outside the Bloc of Independent Members.
