Haiti - Politics : Jovenel Moïse wants a low cost investiture
Monday in a press conference, Lucien Jura the Spokesperson of Jovenel Moïse of the Transitional Commission https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19887-haiti-news-zapping-politics.html explained that the ceremony of the transfer of power to the newly elected President, Jovenel Moïse, scheduled for February 7 will take place around 3 highlights: the taking of the oath, the Te Deum and the speech of the President which will be followed by the meeting with the heads of the various delegations present

In addition to parliamentarians, presidential candidates (2016), all former Heads of State of Haiti and foreign delegations totaling more than 200 personalities are invited to this ceremony, although many foreign guests and heads of state remain to be confirmed, to 16 days from the investiture to be held at the Legislative Palace.

Lucien Jura said that the budget of the investiture ceremony should not exceed one million US dollars at the request of President Jovenel Moïse, who recalled that the hour was to savings "The president-elect does not want the expenses exceed $1 million, although he is very concerned that the State protocol be respected as much as possible [...]" of expenses to be assumed by the National Palace.
