Haiti - NOTICE : Recruitment of a new promotion of student magistrates

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) announces the recruitment of a new promotion of student magistrates and the holding of an initial 6-months pilot training session for the benefit of 20 clerks at the School of Magistrates.

Conditions :

1. Be Haitian and have never renounced to its nationality;

2. Hold a law degree or equivalent, approved by the Rector of the University of Haiti State;

3. Be at least 23 years of age and not more than 50 years of age;

4. Enjoy its civil and political rights and never to be sentenced to afflictive and infamous punishment;

5. Be in good mental health.

Calendar :

From January 23 to March 31, 2017, reception of files of candidatures to the registries of the 5 Courts of Appeals. With the exception of applicants from the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Port-au-Prince who must file their applications directly to the École de la Magistrature, located at Frères ;

During April 2017: publication of the list of candidates entitled to take part in the competition ;

During the month of May 2017: written test ;

During the month of May 2017: publication of the results of the written test ;

In June 2017: oral test ;

In July 2017: publication of the list of candidates admitted.
