The Primature informs the population that, as part of the measures to ensure the security of the elections on Sunday 29 January, the Government has decided to put back in service https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19273-haiti-elections-attention-you-are-filmed.html an electronic surveillance system with the introduction of cameras and drones around and in the spaces of the Voting Centers.

This system will be operated by electronic surveillance experts, who will transmit the information in real time via the Internet to the competent authorities, in order to be able to react to the slightest incident. The Government will thus have an image bank which will be used for the identification and prosecution of troublemakers during and after the electoral process.

"Moreover, the Government has set up 3 telephone numbers allowing the population to report disorders : disorders:

Note that these numbers should not be used for emergencies, but only for reporting facts that may affect the smooth running of the ballot."

Finally, the Government is appealing to the good faith and patriotic sense of every citizen involved in this process to ensure its success.
