Haiti - Sports : International Jet Ski Race in June

Following the prospecting trip carried out in Haiti by the organizers of the "Karujet 2017" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19817-haiti-tourism-towards-an-international-jet-ski-competition-in-haiti.html in order to organize a Special Edition of this race in Haiti in June 2017, Guy Didier Hyppolite, Minister of Tourism announced that this spectacular and very popular Jet Ski race would take place this summer "25 international racers from different countries have already confirmed their presence in Haiti in June. This represents for Haiti the opportunity to receive visitors from all over the world, accompanied by their supporters and who will be staying in Haiti for the event [...] the international press taht will also be present to cover the race, will not fail to relay the competition, but also images of our destination through their media [...]"

Note that following the participation of Haiti in April at the Karujet 2017 in Guadeloupe and the special edition in June 2017 in Haiti, the Karujet 2018 could be held in Haiti on the Côte des Arcadins with a much larger participation of racers.

Christian Fombrun, Representative of the Regional Council of the Côte des Arcadins (CRCA) strongly encourages this initiative, which according to him "in addition of tourism opportunities, will generate many direct and indirect jobs."
