Haiti - Education : D-17, Special Session Permanent Bac for students that failed

The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) recalls that the 1st special session of the Bac permanent for the academic year 2016-2017 will take place as scheduled from 20 to 23 February 2017.

Approximately 18,000 candidates are expected to take part in these exams, which concern only those candidates who have failed to the Bac (Philo). The candidates concerned will compose only in the subjects for which they have not had their average, except in the case of another choice of a candidate wishing to resume all the subjects, at the time of the inscription in these examinations.

According to the new provisions of the Ministry, since the beginning of the academic year 2016-2017, all candidates who have failed indiscriminately must participate in the special baccalaureate sessions in order to better regulate the flow of candidates for the Bac exams.

The next session of the permanent bac is scheduled for the summer of 2017.
