First Council of Ministers of Jovenel Moïse

Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Jovenel Moïse, presided over his first Council of Ministers, at the National Palace. He was accompanied by Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles and other members of the government. There was no decision-making, it was only a contact, he spoke about the major issues of the State and each minister gave him a presentation of the situation of the country.

4 challenges before the BCED

Uder Antoine, the Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), announces that the Offices of the Departmental Electoral Litigation (BCED) of the relevant departments will have to ruling from Thursday on the 4 challenges registered after the elections of 29 January. Chavannes Jean-Baptiste calls for vigilance

Chavannes Jean-Baptiste of the Peasant Movement of Papaye (MPP) calls for vigilance against the next government of President-elect Jovenel Moïse, claiming that signals show that the country is moving towards the continuity of the Martelly Government. He called on all sectors to join forces to combat any possible abuses.
