At the beginning of the week, as part of the dynamic of sharing and the development of a strategic partnership between the two port authorities of the island, Ing. Alix Célestin, the Director General of the National Port Authority (APN), was visited by Ms. Lludelis Espinal, Legal Consultant at the Dominican Port Authority ("Autoridad Portuaria Dominicana" - APORDOM).

Several subjects were discussed at this meeting, but the most important point remained the need for the two authorities to get to know each other and to better understand the legal environment of their reciprocal port system.

The visit ended with an unequivocal commitment to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two Authorities and an invitation to the Director General of the APN to visit his Dominican counterpart in the coming months.

At this meeting, Alix Célestin was accompanied by Ms Lenette Deller, Commercial Director, Joseph Alcime Henri, Operations Director, Hugues Desgranges, Director of International Affairs and of Coordinator of the International Affairs Department Valéry Adrien.
