Haiti - NOTICES : Time change in Haiti
Yves Germain Joseph, Secretary General of the Presidency, informs the general public and reminds public and private sector agents of the provisions of articles #1 and #2 of the presidential decree of 7 March 2012 on the national time :

Article 1 :
As from the date hereof, from 2:00 am (2:00 am) on the second Sunday of March [ie, Sunday, March 12, 2017], the national time will be advanced by 60 minutes.

So Sunday at 2:00 a.m., it will be 3:00 a.m, to enjoy the longer duration of days in summer.

Article 2 :
As of the date hereof, starting at two o'clock in the morning (2:00 AM) on the first Sunday of November, the national time will back by 60 minutes.

Yves Germain Joseph, asks everyone to adjust to this new provision, in order to avoid any setbacks in their daily activities.
