Haiti - Politics : A woman at the head of the Port-au-Prince administration
On Monday, the Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Ralph Youri Chevry, , proceeded to the installation of Anne-René Louis as new Director General of the Municipal Administration.
According to the mayor, Chevry, this change in the General Direction of the Municipality aims to give a new impetus to the Administration to better meet the expectations of taxpayers specifying "Madame Anne-René Louis is not a politician but a great technician who will bring all her know-how for the good functioning of the Town Hall."
In her remarks about the circumstances, after thanking Mayor Chevry for the confidence placed in her, the new General Director felt that this an opportunity offered to her to serve the community and promised to do everything possible to get the Administration back on track and work for the full satisfaction of taxpayers.
