Monday, Limond Toussaint, the new Minister of Culture and Communication, proceeded to the installation of Calvin Cadet as Director General of Communication. He replaces the outgoing Director Necaire Grégoire.

In his remarks, Minister Toussaint affirmed that the choice of Calvin Cadet was made in order to give a new impulse to the communication of the Government. While promising his assistance to the new Director, the Minister aked him to work with the media to build a permanent dialogue.

In his speech, Calvin Cadet promised to organize, manage and administer diligently, seriously and with integrity. He intends to build upon the experience already gained within the Ministry, whose he has already held this position, to meet the challenges affirming "I measure with serenity the extent of the responsibility of keeping the population informed of the Government's national economic and social development plan."
