The departmental direction of Police in South-East presented its work report for the year 2010. According Petit Jacques Onécifort, regional spokesman of this institution "this year has been extremely difficult." Natural disasters, epidemic of cholera, the elections of 28 November. Police in South-East has excelled to fulfill its mission to "protect and serve" said the spokesman of the Police Nationale d'Haiti (PNH) of the Southeast.

Furthermore, regional spokesman for the PNH, asked to the people of the South East, to collaborate more with law enforcement, in order to restore a climate of peace throughout the the South-east. Jacques Petit has reiterated the willingness of the institution to continue working in the interest of the community. The latter admitted that their expectations were not met, saying, however, be pleased with the effort made by his colleagues during 2010, often in extremely complicated.
