Wednesday, at the Marriott Hotel, the Senate Committee on Justice, Security and National Defense, chaired by Senator Jean Renel Senatus, organized a working session with representatives of the three branches of government, the judiciary, the executive and the legislature around among others a bill to secure land ownership and protect the real landowners against various spoilers and crooks...

This bill, according to one of its instigators, Senator Jean Renel Senatus, is intended to be "a legitimate means of protecting all physical and moral persons in the enjoyment of its property against arbitrary dispossession," and it will make it possible to incriminate all individuals who illegally illegally own property of others.

Senatus recalled that, once ousted the fees and costs of legal proceedings are often a real obstacle to the execution of a judgment in favor of the owner, this is why this bill, of twenty items, will allow aAny person who is the victim of unlawful dispossession of his property to seize the court of first instance deemed to be rapid, to recover his rights promptly, pending the legal consequences and a trial within a reasonable time in land ownership.

Numerous amendments and improvements were made to this bill following the proposals and testimonies of victims throughout the day in order to arrive at an effective legal tool against all those who intended to dispossess, monopolize the property of landowners, both local and diaspora or foreigners.
