Sunday at the National Palace, on the occasion of Mother's Day, the First Lady of the Republic, Martine Moiïse organized a special day of activities in tribute to women, including a gift distribution.
The First Lady extended her warmest wishes of happiness to all women and a special thought to all Haitian mothers in Haiti or in the Diaspora "Of all times, in all civilizations, the most important figure has always been the mother. Mother's Day must be an opportunity to pay tribute to all women, and especially Haitian women, who are constantly striving to maintain the social, economic and cultural structures of our country. Women who fight untiringly to care for their offspring. Happy Mother's Day to all."
