Minimum wage, negotiations stalled
Fignolé St-Cyr, the Secretary General of the Haitian Self-Employed Workers' Union (CATH) and Trade Union Representative within the Superior Council of Wages (CSS) said negotiations for an end to the crisis between employers and trade unions for a minimum wage increase of 300 to 800 Gourdes for a working day are stalled.
Carnival of Les Cayes economic
The Committee in charge of the activities of the Carnival of Les Cayes , 3 months after its realization, provided its financial report, indicating basically, having received 40 million gourdes on behalf of the Mayor des Cayes and 6.5 million gourdes from the National Port Authority (APN), of this amount less than 33 million gourdes were spent for the carnival, in Les Cayes. According to the Executive Director of the Carnival Committee, Serge Chéry, the balance of about 13 million gourdes will allow the municipal authorities to carry out some projects in the municipality.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative issues between the BSEIPH and the Working Group to identify relevant strategies that will ensure respect for the rights of persons with disabilities during the reconstruction of the National Palace.
Haiti to the Plenary Assembly of the CFATF
