Earlier this week, in the locality of Pont-Sondé (commune of Saint-Marc), Ms. Eunide Innocent, Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights, accompanied by her Director General, Myrtho Renée, has launched a vast program of training on the manufacture of rice straw blocks, used as building materials.

This training, which takes into account women in particular, is carried out in collaboration with "Architects without Borders - Italy", which cooperates in sustainable development initiatives in collaboration with individuals or disadvantaged communities.

According to Minister Innocent, this apprenticeship program is likely to strengthen rural women by providing access to essential productive resources. The Ministry and "Architects without Frontiers - Italy" also intend to promote the principles of solidarity and non-discrimination.
