Moïse promises access to credit to the police officers

Monday at the commemoration ceremony of the 22 years of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Jovenel Moïse announced the adoption of provisions in order to allow the police to have access to the credit on reasonable conditions, for the construction or the acquisition of houses.

Trade unions contest their representatives at the CSS

Yanique Etienne, coordinator of Batay Ouvrier, challenge, like several other trade unions, the appointment of Pierre Joseph Polycarpe and Fritz Charles as representatives of the union sector on the Superior Council of Wages (CSS). She explained that these people had previously expressed publicly positions in favor of the bosses, citing in particular Pierre Joseph Polycarpe, who twice in 2015 had advocated the blocking of wages.

Fight against forced child labor

Monday, as part of the celebration of the international day against forced child labor, the Mobile Institute of Democratic Education launched a 3-day symposium on the situation of minors in Haiti.

Moïse at the PNH parade

Monday, as part of the celebration of the 22nd anniversary of the creation of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), President Moïse , attended the traditional parade of this institution. The parade, which took place on the esplanade of the Police Academy on the Route of Frères , was an opportunity for the Head of State to review the various units of the National Police and to declare "I take this opportunity to pay tribute to our police officers."

3rd Edition of the Symposium on Public Administration

This Tuesday, under the patronage of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), the Interministerial Committee for Regional Development, the Ministry of Economy and the firm "Consultations and Results" will be launching the 3rd edition of the Symposium on Public Administration in Haiti on the theme "Haitian Public Administration : Status, Issues and Prospects." This event, which will run from June 13 to 15 at separate sites, will provide an opportunity to consider the viable ways and means of another administrative governance, determined to make the big jump that could trigger the Haiti's shift into modernity.
