Following the Bahrain agreement last May between the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) and the Dominican Football Federation (FEDOFUT) on strengthening cooperation between Haiti and DR, in particular by increasing the number of sports exchanges to all levels , it was decided to start with the three Haitian teams that must compete this summer :

U15 Boys engaged in CONCACAF in August 2017 in Tampa;

U17 girls in the FIFA qualifiers this summer;

U20 Girls also engaged in World Cup with a first round to play in Haiti from 17 to 23 July 2017.

With a major financial effort from the FHF, the three youth selections crossed the Belladeres / Elias Pinas border in two charter buses to San Cristobal / Goal Center for three days of non-stop competitions: Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June; The girls will play at the "Estadio Panamericano" and the boys at the "Center goal" against their Dominican counterparts. The Dominican teams will come to Haiti later in the season.
