The Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) of the Ministry of the Interior recalls that, according to the procedure and the standards in force, its computer system keeps in memory the codes of all the passports already allocated and will not be able to issue a new passport for any applicant who is unable to present the passport booklet assigned to him/her. In such cases, the system taking into account the integrated safety parameters, will classify the new application as inadmissible.
