Haiti - Economy : Creation of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Development
The draft law on the establishment, organization and functioning of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Development (ANDE) was adopted at the last Council of Ministers (30 June), confirmed us on Wednesday 5 July the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers .
ANDE is a coordinating body whose mission is to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, to harmonize the different policies in the field of entrepreneurship and to promote the competitiveness of Haitian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
ANDE aims to encourage the creation and development of companies by supporting the setting up and steering of actions in the field of :
The training of young graduates of higher education, of holders of a vocational training diploma and any investment project ;
Access to specific financing schemes ;
Supporting entrepreneurs in their project.
The Agency will be managed by a Board of Directors chaired by the Minister of Trade and Industry or his representative.
