In the latest FIFA World Ranking, published on Thursday (July 6th), our National Senior Men's Football Selection jumped by 15 places, from 64th to 49th place worldwide. It is not its best performance (December 2012: 39th) but its dazzling progression is remarkable.

Germany took the top spot in the world rankings after winning the Russian Confederations Cup, relegating Brazil in second place, followed by Argentina, who completed the trio in the lead.

The Fifa in a tweet published on its Twitter account congratulates Haiti for its progression. "Congratulations to Haiti, who entered the top 50 (49th) and took the 4th place in the Concacaf zone."

The next Grenadiers match, after their elimination from all official competitions, is in January 2018 for the Nations League of the Confederation of North American, Central American and Caribbean Football (CONCACAF).

1 - Mexico: 1003 pts (16th in the world)

2 - Costa Rica: 839 pts (26th)

3 - USA: 752 pts (35th)

4 - Haiti: 667 pts (49th)
