Haiti - Social : ONA launches a new service for the Diaspora

On Monday, as part of the weekly conferences, Chesnel Pierre, the Director General of the National Insurance Office (ONA), launched two new products "ONA FANM" and "ONA DIASPORA".

While recalling ONA's social vocation, Chesnel Pierre explained that ONA FANM is a product that will enable women who do not have easy access to loans in remote areas and members of Associations to benefit from loans up to to 50,000 gourdes at an unbeatable rate of 1%, which will help them to create small businesses.

In addition, "ONA DIASPORA", will allow the former ONA insured who have had to leave the country, to continue to pay their membership fees.

On the other hand, "ONA DIASPORA" also offers the possibility to any other person living in the diaspora to integrate the ONA and pay the subscription fee online, allowing them to benefit from loans to the ONA in order to make investment projects in the country and increase the employment rate in the country.

He also recalled that "ONA PHARMA" and "ONA MARKET", two new products already put in place by the new team, are aimed at relieving employees and any ONA insured who receive a discount of 10 to 20% on their purchases in certain pharmacies and supermarkets.

Finally, the Director General of the ONA announced the opening on August 24 of an ONA Communal Office in Mirebalais and other branches of ONA PAM in communes such as Estère, Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye, Aquin in order to decentralize the services offered by the ONA.
