Following an incident Which took place on Friday 14 July 2017 in the Radio Television Caraïbes (RTVC) studios between journalist Guyler C. Delva filed a complaint for defamation at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince.

Commissioner,

I presents you my compliments and I have the advantage of explaining to you that a citizen responding to the name of Faraday Pierre-Louis launched an intensive campaign of lies against my person, with the obvious purpose of tarnishing my reputation.

Mr. Pierre-Louis appeared at the Radio Caraïbes studio on Friday, July 14 to make a statement on the program 'Matin Caraïbes', of which I am co-host.

During the program, there was a disagreement between the hosts, which remains an internal issue to the show and to the radio, However, followed an incident whose I will spare you the details yet, waiting to be able to expose them at a hearing which I hope will take place in a very short time.

Since July 14, Mr. Faranday Pierre-Louis has not ceased to declare that I slapped him. An utterly misleading statement, which is an attack on my reputation. I never slapped him and did not give him any blow.

On the basis of all of the foregoing, Mr. Commissioner of the Government, I intend to file a complaint and, as a matter of fact, I have filed a formal complaint against Mr. Faranday Pierre-Louis so that he is prosecuted and punished according to the laws in force, for offense of defamation against my person, and it will be Justice.
