Haiti - Politics : Moïse meets with business sector in the South

On Friday, President Jovenel Moïse met with representatives of the business sector of the South Department to identify problems that hamper the development of the department. This meeting was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South

Among the problems mentioned are the cadastral question, the absence of port and airport infrastructure, access to credit and the respect of various powers, in order to promote a better functioning of the State in the regions.

President Moïse replied favorably to most of the requests, particularly regarding the issue of access to credit, confirming to the stakeholders that talks are already underway with members of the Haitian financial system, to facilitate the financing of viable projects that boost the economy and job creation.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State reiterated his call for the collaboration of the business sector with a view to facilitating the actions of the State and putting the country on the path of sustainable development.
