Former soldiers in the new army

Novelties in the next penal code

On Tuesday, during the 5th working session of the Senate Justice Commission on the reform of the penal code, Senator Jean Renel Sénatus, President of the Commission, stressed the urgent need to adapt this code to the reality of the 21st century. New features in these two codes include: alternative measures to prison, such as electronic wristband surveillance, protection of privacy on social networks, replacement of the Commissioner of Prosecutor of the Republic, the decriminalization of begging and the criminalization of the exploitation of begging.

Signature of renewal of CBTPA
