Haiti - Economy : New database of Haitian companies meeting international standards
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP - Haiti) in collaboration with the "Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo", the Center for Investment Facilitation (CFI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CCIH), train Haitian consultants who will work to set up a database of national Haitian suppliers meeting international standards.

These consultants accredited in "Haiti Services Providers" (HSP) will be able to evaluate the Haitian companies that meet the technical specifications required to register on this new database.

This UNDP initiative aims to expand the number of Haitian companies for international trade. This will have a medium-term effect on the improvement of skills in foreign trade, as well as on the increase in exports and the growth of the Haitian economy. This process will also contribute to the creation of quality jobs.

The launch of this new database will stimulate a new national dynamic for the development of strategies to strengthen productive chains in the context of the internationalization of Haitian companies and restoration of local capacities.
