Haiti - Politics : Mayor Chevry meets with representatives of the International Community 12/08/2017 10:41:26
The purpose of the meeting, which was attended by Matt Woods, Chargé d'affaires at the EU Delegation, was to clarify the Chinese proposal for reconstruction of the Town Hall and the construction of several new public contracts https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21711-haiti-politic-toward-the-reconstruction-of-the-pap-town-hall-with-the-help-of-china.html and to evaluate the possibilities of a more sustained collaboration between the City of Port-au-Prince and the various international actors involved in Haiti. At the end of the meeting, the participants agreed to maintain a more intense communication with the City Council by multiplying these meetings in order to facilitate a better collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Port-au-Prince.
