Haiti - Politics : The presidential couple celebrated Our Lady of the Assumption
Tuesday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by his wife Martine and several parliamentarians, attended the "Te deum" of the celebration of the Our Lady of the Assumption, Patron Saint among others of Capois.

The Head of State, accompanied by the local authorities of Cap-Haitien, took the opportunity to visit the Town Hall of the commune and the Delegation of the North, where he discussed with representatives of the State and Development Associations of the department.

Recall that the previous evening, the Head of State had visited the commune of Ouanaminthe, where he participated in the festivities of Our Lady, met the Clergy, before addressing the people of the commune, around the vision for the zone.

In a note, "President Moïse , wishes Happy Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption to all the Cayens, Capois, Petit-Goavien, Ouanaminthais and all the other fellow citizens of the other communes of the territory of which Notre-Dame is their Patron Saint."
