Of the more than 8,000 asylum seekers intercepted at the Quebec border since June while illegally crossing the Canadian border, nearly 2,700 are young people under the age of 18, according to a statement Wednesday by Kathleen Weil, the Quebec Minister of Immigration, who called for the profile of these young people so that school boards are preparing.
