Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake of 4.3 in the Central Plateau

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred on Saturday afternoon around 4:14 pm, confirmed the Technical Unit of Seismology (UTS) of the Bureau of Mines and Energy.
The epicenter was located 11 km south-west of Thomonde and 13 km northeast of Mirebalais, in the Central Plateau. The earthquake was felt in at least three departments, including several cities in the West and Artibonite.
No loss of human life or injuries is to be deplored for now. A house was damaged in Lascahobas, still in the Center, according to the communal committee of Civil Protection.
