Workshop on the rights of people with disabilities

The Departmental Offices for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities in the North, Artibonite, Center, South, South-East and Grand-Anse with the support of the Christian Blind Mission organized a workshop with representatives of Associations of Persons with Disabilities around the draft version of 29 additional questions addressed to the Haitian State by the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities following the transmission to the Secretary General of the United Nations in 2014 of the Initial Report of Haiti on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Cross-border smuggling

A working session on border smuggling was held between the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Secretary of State for Finance, the Director-General of National Police of Haiti, the Deputy Director of the Directorate General of Taxes and the Technical Commission of the Borders.

New program « Konbit alpha »
