In anticipation of the passage of Hurricane IRMA of Category 5 on the Saffir-Simpson scale https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22021-haiti-flash-irma-in-category-5-haiti-in-orange-alert.html , the Ministry of National Education informs the general public and educational agents in particular that it has been decided to declare 3 days of leave in public and non-public schools from Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 September 2017.

The Ministry invites departmental directors to make all arrangements for the full application of this provision.

Directors of schools are also invited to make all arrangements for the security of materials and especially the archives of their respective institutions.
