IRMA: Sunrise Airways suspends flights...

Sunrise Airways has suspended all flights between Port-au-Prince, Haiti and its three destinations in Cuba - Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Camaguey - for the period from 7 to 8 September. If weather permitting it, unrise Airways will resume flights to Cuba on September 9, 2017.

In Brazil, family reunification continues

The Brazilian ambassador in Port-au-Prince says the Haitian community in Brazil is adapting and the process of family reunification is continuing. The diplomat Fernando Vidal announced that his government has already regularized the situation of 107,000 Haitians in recent years.

Ratification of the budget postponed

The session to allow senators to ratify or not ratify the draft budget 2017-2018 scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed due to strong differences between senators.
