Haiti - Security : New earthquake of 3,88 in the department of Nippes

After the observation of the increase of the seismic activity in the Nippes https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21890-haiti-flash-increase-of-seismic-activities-in-the-nippes.html and the two earthquakes recorded last August, the Technical Unit of Seismology of the Bureau of Mines and Energy informs us that a new earthquake of magnitude 3.88 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday 11 September 2017 at 11h34'43 "pm (local time). The epicenter was located in the Nippes Department, 700 meters south-east of Petite Rivière de Nippes, 15 km west of Miragoâne and 13 km east of Anse-à-Veau. The shock was widely felt in Paillant, Miragoâne. Anse-à-Veau and Fonds des Nègres.
