The mayors of the two neighboring communes and the volunteer Civil Protection brigadiers are working to accompany the population. The Public Works initiated, very early Saturday, cleaning and clearing of roads.

In the Central Plateau, the volunteer brigadiers intervened during the night from Friday to Saturday to alert the local residents to the rise of Guayamouc and the beginning of a flood in Hinche.
