Data from international sources is automatically updated by an international firm "Knoema", the technical partner of the CFI which developed the platform. The Head of State welcomed the establishment of this information platform which is a response to the inaccessibility of reliable data in Haiti that are facing both investors and other private sector actors «Today, thanks to this platform, interested parties can access the data and download it in a few minutes. This platform offers direct and real information and reliable and exploitable data on Haiti [...] This is a big step towards this much-desired modernity," said President Moïse. The CFI Director renewed her commitment to promote and facilitate private investment in the country. "This new step in the CFI's mission is part of the Moïse/Lafontant government's vision to strengthen support for current and future investors. One of its responsibilities is to set up an information system based on the compilation, organization and dissemination of economic and commercial information produced on Haiti as well as in Haiti and abroad," adding "We are also working with our partners to identify bottlenecks in a number of administrative procedures in order to propose reforms to simplify these procedures for the benefit of investors, entrepreneurs and the public administration." "The Inter-American Development Bank encourages any initiative to facilitate, develop or encourage entrepreneurship in Haiti.
