Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant invited as part of the 20th edition of the Mondays of the ress reported about the insecure situation "We are working to establish security in the country. Regarding education he recalled "despite our limited resources we managed to pay more than 2,800 teachers who had not received their salary for 3 years..."

Regarding the political parties, the Prime Minister said Lafontant "Political parties are the basis of democracy. The Government has a special fund to help political parties. In Haiti we want to have strong political parties, with the active participation of the population..."

Concluding on corruption he said "[...] corruption will not be tolerated. Clear instructions have been given to Ministers, Directors General and Public Servants in this regard. Without special permission, state employees can not use state vehicles like they want..."
