Haiti - Security : Denial of the Secretary of State for Security
Following the publication on social networks, of an information reporting Monday morning the assassination of two police oficers at the Carrefour Commune, Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr, the Secretary of State for Public Security, brings in a note a formal denial of this information and takes the opportunity to urge the population to be wary of this news broadcast through unofficial channels.
"The Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security deplores these actions, which project a bad image of the security climate in Haiti and reassures the population that it will do its best to keep them properly informed."
