Haiti - OFATMA : 3,837 health insurance cards distributed to the PNH

Agabus Joseph, the Director General of the Office of Occupational Accident Insurance, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA), Dr. Agabus Joseph, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Jovenel Moïse, proceeded, at the National Police Academy (ANP) located at Frères, to the distribution of several thousand insurance cards to the various units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

The ceremony was held in the presence of several officials, including the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), Stéphanie Auguste, the Secretary of State for Public Security (SESP), Ronsard St- Cyr and the Director of Human Resources of the PNH, Joseph Gaspard Hyppolite.

This symbolic distribution is part of a series that targets thousands of civil servants, including teachers, judges and workers of different companies, etc...

The Director Joseph recognized the need to better supervise the agents of the PNH despite the difficult situation of the country. "Times have changed and, despite the difficulties related to the difficult socio-political context in which we evolve, the Administration Moïse-Lafontant intends to honor its promises to improve the well-being of the PNH in particular and the Haitian people in general," adding that it is said determined now to offer a wider service to the entire population.
