Haiti - Justice : 4 substitutes of the Commissioner of the Government revoked... 20/11/2017 06:56:25
Heidi Fortuné the Minister of Justice confirmed that 4 substitutes of the Commissioner of the Government at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince: Kenzy Joseph, Abner Jean Emile, Berthol Toussaint and Jean-Louis Elysée had been dismissed for "serious administrative errors in the processing of the Kaliko Beach hotel file, relating to the trafficking of persons and criminal associations," and their involvement in the release of 9 alleged traffickers of persons arrested in February 2017 in a room of the hotel Kaliko Beach.
These revocations were approved by Prime Minister Lafontant according to a source close to the file in the Ministry.
